The kurta’s neckline yoke is built up by hand in pearl and gota, zari lattice and a scatter of sequins, with stone accents in pink where the light should stop.
The ground is a chartreuse-yellow silk, small gold butis drifting down from the yoke. The dupatta does double duty in two crafts at once: a rani-pink bandhani, its tiny tie-dyed dots forming diamonds, edged with woven Banarasi gold borders. A plain rani-pink bottom lets the two of them sing.
