Round neck · Long kurta · Half sleeves · Palazzo pants
Multicolour Phulkari scattered across fresh ivory — the brightest blooms on the quietest ground, cut to your measure.
The same Punjabi flower-work as our black Noir, here lifted onto a clean ivory ground so the coral, wine and green read like a garden after rain. Diamond butis climb the kurta to a scalloped, banded hem, and a sheer ivory dupatta carries the border. Choose the silhouette; we cut it to you.
Phulkari — literally “flower work” — is Punjab’s own embroidery, darned in untwisted silk floss with a long-and-short stitch, counted thread by thread from the back of the cloth so the colour sits proud on the front. It has been carried from mother to daughter across our pind for generations.
On an ivory ground the palette turns fresh and sunlit — coral, wine, soft green and cream diamond butis scattered up the kurta, gathering into a banded, scalloped hem. The sheer ivory dupatta repeats the blooms along both borders, light enough to float over the shoulder all day.
This is a daytime piece — a mehndi, a haldi, a summer function, a morning where ivory feels right and the colours do the talking. Because it is cut to your measurements, the fall of the kurta and the ease of the palazzo or patiala are yours to decide.
On white there is nowhere for a loose thread to hide. That is exactly why we like to work it. From My Pind — made to measure
